Feast of Fields is a Demeter organic certified farm, producing grapes for wine and juice, which is available in 20 L pails. The farm also produces raspberries, blackberries, pears, blueberries, and other seasonal fruit. A big surprise to many is that they actually can grow figs in passive solar greenhouse. You can visit Feast of Fields, a storybook picture farm tucked away on the Escarpment Bench when you stay at Laura's Vintener's Cottage Bed and Breakfast, attached to her 1835 farmhouse. You can stroll in the vineyard, watch the peafowl and herons and visit with their horses, cattle and llamas. There is a 5 acre pond and in the winter there is skating, cross country skiing and beautiful trails to enjoy a lovely walk.
